Remicade and joint pain

So I had remicade 10 days ago and going to have my second infusion on April 2. The last few days I have had horrible muscle and joint pain. It has been completely dibilitating to where I can't climb in bed by myself, get dressed, drive and more. I called my GI and he said it couldn't be the remicade because the reactions only come within 24 hours... And to call my family doctor. Well, she is out all week for spring break! So unfortunately had to to to er. The dr there acted like it for sure was remicade. How can 2 doctors have such different opinions? Do I have another treatment on Thursday? What if it's another auto immune disease such as lupus or fibromialgia... Anyone have any insight.

I've only been on remicade for under a year and I already have joint pain in my fingers, toes, and left hip. My doctor said it could be Rhumatoid arthiritis (spell check?) but I tested negative for that. Then my friend who is a physical therapist told me that autoimmune meds can cause joint pain. I do hear a lot of people have joint pain with remicade. Good luck.
