Remicade and Low Testosterone

Hello all. I am wondering if anyone has had low testosterone levels while on Remicade? I have decreased energy levels, lack of motivation and difficulty with concentration lately. I am wondering if anyone has possibly linked it to Remicade or other biologics?

Tell them what you are going through. Ask them about having your blood checked.

I am going to the Dr specifically to get him to order the blood test for my test levels. I am just wondering if anyone else may be experiencing similar issues or have the same concerns as I do about Remicade and test levels.

could be that, or many other things. those are also depression symptoms btw. or anemia. or ...

I'm quite certain I don't suffer from depression. The only change in my life has been the Crohn's and Remicade to treat it.

Hi, i was going to say 'depression' is too loose of a term being used, meaning since you noticed a change in energy, etc. after starting a med. Sure ibd is a crap illness, but not everyone is 'depressed' with it and shouldn't be sloughed off as such.

Have you had your b12, d checked? If not, please ask to include in labs.
