So I started my first infusion of remicade after meeting with my surgical team. My reversal is scheduled for Jan 27th and the infusion went great, took about 2 hours and when getting this done at the VA Hospital and its noonish they even serve us lunch! Next treatment on new years eve day! That's ok though - starting the new year out right! Hope everyone has a great holiday season and a better new year!

I'm glad your infusion went well. The first one can be a little nerve racking.Having lunch served to you helps the time go by. :)

I have had 4 infusions so far. I bring my iPad with me and watch movies on Netflix to pass the time. I wish I was served lunch. We can bring whatever food or drink with and there is water and juice and graham crackers they give out.

I also bring a 'infusion day kit' with me on infusion day. I bring water, a few snacks, a book and a tablet. Honestly, once I'm hooked up in the recliner with a warm blanket and my book, I have napped a time or two. :)

Well at 3am I had a sore throat - it went away then chills no fever - and now chills back with slight headache. Guessing its side effects of the Remicade!?

My son has been getting remicade for almost 2 years. He just gets tired and loses appetite for a few hrs then fine. Doubt those symptoms are side affect from remicade sounds more like flu symptoms my son just had.

Fatigue is my only real side effect. Remicade is one of the best meds I have taken in terms if side effects.

We all react a bit differently, but I also don't think these are Remicade symptoms.
