My son is the Crohnie....he has been on Remicade for 3 infusions now. He had Imuran added about 6 weeks ago and has slowly increased to 125mg now and will increase more I believe after his next blood test if all is okay.
He has been feeling very good except for several colds back to back but not bad enough to miss work or his life! So he called tonight to tell me that today at work he had a couple incidents of mucus coming out. Enough he could feel it and had to go clean up. He is flip about it, I am very worried.
He said he will call in to his GI in the morning before work, but I felt he should call tonight and at least tell them. This is the first time he has had mucus since he was diagnosed in Sept and started Prednisone. He is off that now of course. But I felt it might mean he isn't as well as he thinks he is. Thoughts please, so a nervous mother can sleep tonight?
