I have just finished tapering off of Prednisone that the doctor had me on for about a month. I'm now off of it and feeling great. The "crash" was really hard the day after I quit. I felt tired and fell asleep really early.
Now they are talking to me about Remicade and I am thinking about it. Has anyone had good experience with it? The doctor told me that it is a better option than trying Humira at first.
I'm only taking vitamins and eating good foods right now. I'm taking B vitamins, Vitamin C, small iron supplement, Oscal (calcium and vitamin D). I haven't had a flare up in over 4 months and I've gained weight back.

Any thoughts would help helpful. I'm also trying to find more natural supplements to help as well.

Thanks in advance!

Josh

Hi Josh ..

There is a Remicade Club in the treatment section you may want to check out. A lot of great info there.

Good luck with your decision ! :)

I have had good experience with it for the most part. Some minor side effects but it sure beats the severe crohns flare I was having. 95% of the time I feel like a normal person, heck probably better than most people I know.

I can honestly say that I haven't noticed any negative side effects of the Remicade. It works so well on my pain, and enables me to eat, so if I'm having any, I must be ignoring them! I was on Humira and it never felt like it worked for me, but I did have to interrupt my dosing schedule for several kidney procedures. Remicade is a lifesaver for me. I am scared of the day when/if it ever stops working for me.
