Colonscope went fine and more comfort then last time.

The exam for : Crohn's colitis on Balsalazide for IBD assessment.

Extent of exam: Terminal Ileum.

Findings: Quiscent Crohn's colitis.
Terminal ileum look normal.
Serial biopsy taken.

Endoscopic Diagnosis is : Quiscent Crohn's colitis which means what?

Did you ask your doctor?

Sounds like there is not endoscopic evidence of inflammation in the presence of a history of Crohn's. Colitis usually refers to inflammation/symptoms in the colon as opposed to the small bowel.

Quiescent means dormant - so Patricia is right. You have a history of Crohn's colitis (this refers to the location of the disease activity), but it currently appears to be in remission. Congrats! How have you been feeling lately?

Mouth ulcers can be completely unrelated. Keep an eye on them for now - if they don't go away within ten days, see a doctor about them. In the meantime, avoid acidic and spicy foods that would irritate them further. Rinsing your mouth with salt water or a water and peroxide mix helps keep them clean and healing more quickly, as well!

It sounds like the joint pain might be unrelated as well. Have you seen a GP about it?

The joint pain was severe went I am flaring badly it ease of now but is there. Mouth ulcers I suffer from went I am flaring. Only reason I know is because before I told about having Crohns in 2000 I was flaring for year or more on and off and I remember suffer very bad with ulcers.

Also I have lose half a stone in 5 months.
