Well, I thought I let you all know how my first week of work went after the long recovery from surgery and unemployment.

In short: Phantastic!

It seems like a dream come true because the work comes easy, since it is nothing that I haven't done before. However, without anybody there to teach me about the "little" things I spend a lot of time running around and searching, which got me a little behind. Still, nothing I couldn't handle.

I have to admit that once I get home I am bea,t but during the day and the focus on work I, so far, have no problems getting the workload done.

The bathroom is pretty close by and I put my wet wipes in a little baggie so, if some people actually notice how often I go to empty the bag, it looks like I might be on a permanent period. :ylol:

Overall, I am a very happy camper and I got the first positive feedback from my boss who complimented me on my flexibility about the fact that nobody showed me the ropes but I hit the ground running. Oh, and running I did .... I think I gained weight just by converting fat into muscle.

And, thanks to the benefits I have the first paid holiday on Monday.

Happy Labor Day weekend to all!!

Thank you all for the kind remarks. I feel really lucky to have landed this job and after the 8 months hiatus I am physically and (hopefully) mentally not to rusty to perform well.

Enjoying the weekend much more than before :D
