Let's see how many of us want to share our scars. I'm definately interested to see how they turned out with others

I thought my scar would be tiny - at first it looked like it would be - but now it's hyperotrophic and I'm waiting my appointment with my GE to see if I can get a scar surgery to make it smaller.

Anyways, here's my pictures.

This is 13 days after surgery. Teeny tiny.

And this is 7 months after surgery, hypertrophic.

The incision itself was really small and I'm happy about that. There's also three small scars (laparoscopic holes) in my tummy. Over all I'm happy with the results, but I'm wondering can my belly button scar handle a pregnancy - it's really inflexible...

Mine's a bad quality and I don't know how to make images smaller in Paint. :p Just posted this one in another thread cause it shows my Humira reaction but you can see the resection scar too. The laparoscopic hole is just to the left of the allergic reaction.

Our's are pretty small compared the the open surgery ones. I've seen a few of those posted on the forum. D:

Crabby, wow, your laparoscopic hole's barely noticeable! Mine are a bit chubby/puffy and they're red too... How long has it been since your surgery in that picture?

13 years. Yeah the laparoscopic hole healed up pretty quick. That puffiness should go away with some more time.

This is me belly just about 2 weeks post op. The actual resection scar actually only extends about an inch down from my belly button, but it runs neatly into the existing scar from a non Crohn's op I had years ago.
A lot of the bruises are not from the surgery: they're from those nasty injections you get in your stomach to prevent blood clotting.
