Yes, I sure don't miss mine. Just a question - I'm not familiar with a sub total proctocolectomy. What parts would they leave and why?

And 5 months seems like a long time to think about it. Wsa that your choice or just your surgeon's schedule?

As far as I know the subtotal part is referring to the fact they will be able to reverse it if want then to eventually. So i assume there will be some left near the rectum.

The date was my choosing. I figured t would give me enough time to sort out duties at work, save up/apply for temporary disability, plan at least two raging parties and if I'm lucky a trip to Cuba. I'm going to make sure that it is dead before it leaves.

I'm going to be honest,Astra's post confused me, I saw no issue with the date 2010 until you mentioned it now. But in my defence I spent the entire day pulling and analysing sales data from last year, I typed out 2010 approximately 216 times today.
