Has Rowasa helped your child or did the SF Rowasa work better? We know that sulfur foods cause more problems with IBD and can inhibit good bacteria growth in the colon. Why would they put it in the enema?
The doc gave me the sulfur free Rowasa! The pharmacist had to call the company- only took one day! So, why didn't the doc prescribe it in the first place, not sure he even knew about it! :yrolleyes:
He has been good for 2 wks now since they started 8 wks of Prednisone and gaining weight after a year or more. Hoping Rowasa speeds up the healing of his lower major inflammation. Thanks for asking. We start mtx in a week also.
Ya pred will do that. Grace has to drink 6 cartons of EN a day. Normally she drinks three and I'm happy that and put the rest in her tube at night but on pred I had to say slow down it's only 2:00 and your almost done.
