RVF surgery question

I have a question for any women who may have had failed advancement flap surgery on a rvf. Today I saw my surgeon again & he said that there may be a possibility it could be repaired vaginally, although not until I've fully recovered from my previous surgery. Just wondering if anyone has experience with this procedure & if it was successful??? Trying to avoid getting a stoma
