Let the poop party begin. Yup, it's my party and I'll cry if I want to!

I'm a ball of nerves!! I have been flaring for almost 2 weeks. Haven't really been eating and now I have to drink this orange crap. I have 4 kids here and hubby doesn't get home for a while. I am also going to miss my uncles funeral service tomorrow due to the timing of my scope. My aunt understands.

Sorry for the complete randomness of this post (epic fail as my son would say) but I guess I'm just nervous.

So, raise your glass and join me in my prep party, if you want to :ylol:

good luck I feel for ya, what delightful prep have you got? i've had both klean and fleet and they were both vile. All the best for tomo and sorry about your uncle.

Oh gosh yes, I am very sorry about your loss. I didn't mean to sound rude with my post.
I hope it goes well for your scope.

Hugs

Good luck! The prep is the worst part, once that's over with it should be smooth sailing for you. Keep us posted on how it all goes!

Sorry about your loss. I hope the prep is not too hard on you. For me it was different for the only 2 colonoscopies i've done, first one i was in hospital for c-diff and on my last day i had my test. I will tell you the prep was a breeze compared to my 2nd one. I found that weird as i was so sick in hospital, having d sometimes 20 times aday. Then the d was cutting down lots and then i thought oh no i have to take these drinks to have d again. I did it and it was easy. The 2nd time the prep made me very nauseated on last night before test. Anyway i was wondering why do they make you do the prep if you are flaring and not eating. I was not eating anything at the time of c-diff so why do they make you clean yourself out when there is nothing there.

Thanks everyone!

Pills done and 1st package of Pico done. I drank it within 5 minutes. Drinking water now and waiting impatiently lol

At least I'm still laughing - for now!

That is exactly what my friend was worried about. I have been flaring and not eating and now this. I have zero energy and this will make it worse! Oh well, I don't think I have a choice!

Good luck! The taste of the pico didn't bother me too much actually. After some of the stuff they made me drink in the hospital it was a welcome relief haha.

After the first sachet nothing happened for 4 hours! I was thinking oh god whats wrong with me? rofl. Then I drank the second sachet and things were definitely moving by then haha. It wasn't as violent as I thought it would be, maybe because I haven't been eating much and mostly liquid to begin with lol.

Good luck :( and I'm sorry about your uncle.

Thanks! My instructions say to take the 2nd pack 3-4 hours before the actual test. So, one now and then one tomorrow morning. Scope is set for 1:45pm tomorrow. I just hope either something happens soon and not in the middle of the night!

My instructions were to take the first sachet at 8 am then the second around 2-4. After that I had to take 2 dulcolax and then a dulcolax suppository! ugh!

put some squash in your pico it wont taste so bad, very sorry for your loss.all will be OK.stay strong.
xxTom
