What is your SED rate???
I am not having a flare (at least that I know of) and my SED rate is 23. This is slightly above normal 0-20.

So, please share your SED rate and indicate if it is during a flare or not. For those who don't know: SED rate indicates whether there is inflammation in your body.

Today I am getting an abdominal CAT scan. I have to drink that stuff. I hate it!

anywhere between 22 and 24... when flaring it was like waaay high... I wanna say 50 something, but I don't remember.... I remember seeing 36 once too.

I had a very elevated SED rate back at the beginning when I was first seeking treatment. Instead of anyone thinking about crohn's the doctor tossed it aside saying 'Oh, well you must be getting over a minor cold or something.' That's not the first time I had a high SED rate or white blood cell count and it was ignored either. Why would you bother doing tests like this if you don't care about the results?

I should check into this, I guess I didn't figure to inquire about mine, not that I'd notice something the docs didn't, I'm sure they've been keeping an eye on it.
