ugh. i've discovered i can't eat taco bell anymore. even on remicade. but i'm kinda ok with it, but because it's really gone downhill in the past few years. taco hell, i mean.
Haha well if you enjoyed the day it was worth it. Better to have a good one and pay for it with a bad one, then to just have bland ones all the time! But my god, how did you eat Taco Bell?? You must be a very strong person.
I fear that place.
I shouldn't encourage such behavior, but good for you! Enjoy what you like to eat/drink!
One of the things Crohn's makes me appreciate is the ability to enjoy food. When you're flaring - in pain, with nausea, and have zero appetite - food, even your favorite comfort foods, is the enemy. Food should never be the enemy!
Ohhh, I miss Taco Bell. I know it's not even that good but I haven't had it in 2 years and sometimes I just crave it. Drooooool! It's just got so many triggers for me, I can't risk it. I can't do dairy, corn, red meat, spicy or greasy. I could probably do a mild chicken taco on a flour tortilla, but what I crave is a big meaty-greasy-cheesy-sour creamy taco on a corn shell! Owww, I hurt just thinking about it though. You're braver than I am Steph!
Oh good! I am glad you aren't hurting too bad. I think if tomorrow is about the same, you are in the clear (sometimes my bad choices don't hit me until 48 hours later).
