If I wasn't plum tucked out tired this evening from a grumpy gut I'd be more wordy, but thought this neat to see. The Senate passed a resolution designating this week in December national Crohn's and Colitis awareness week. Nice video from a reporter who suffers from Crohn's himself.

Would be great if it were a cure in the next 10 years but it'll more than likely be another/better medication which I'm fine with as well for now.

I'm rather a fan of the paleo diet. It hasn't cured my gut woes - yet - it's a work in progress, I guess. But the diet sure has improved my health situation.

Completely different disease, but liked what this doctor had to say in this video. She was able to put her MS in remission by eating a paleo diet, eating nutritious foods. I wouldn't be surprised if many crohn's and other bowel disorder sufferers could improve their situation in a similar way. No way though could I handle all the fiber the doctor eats in day - at least for right now! Stick a fork in me, I'm done, if I tried.

I think it's great that there's a crohn's & colitis awareness. But, it'd be even better if there were either a cure or a way to treat all of our flares...
