I am a lurker who has not been keen on posting! I have learnt so much from y'all already thank you!

Soooo I have been flaring since Christmas day feeling like a real wet blanket the whole festive season.... And today after days of terrible aching leg muscles and back ache my doctor mentions Fibromyalgia as a side effect/link to chrons! Come on really!! It feels like a bad bad joke?!!!:voodoo:

Took my kids to movies today... I wasn't thinking ahead and ate popcorn so feel even worse! Feel like such a flake I can't do normal things without suffering! I know that there are a lot of people much sicker than me.... Today I am just having a 'pity party' and just so-over-CD!!

I think we are all guilty of feeling that way. I know there are times where i get frustrated at having to do things a little differently than everyone else as well. I hope you get to feeling better.

I'm so sorry to hear that. Popcorn is hell on our bowels! I'd kill for popcorn, but no way I can eat it.

Are you off to the Dr's soon about the flare??? Maybe some different meds for maintenance once you get over the flare?

Doc increased my dosage for during the flare.... If no better by Wednesday I may give in and go to hospital.... Hold thumbs tomorrow is a better day cos I hate leaving my kids even tho my husband is great it's just not fun!
