We own a labrador retriever who is there years old. He is a service dog for my wife who is in a wheelchair. I have been told that service dogs can also be used for people who have Crohn's Disease. I one of two occasions, Alex has laid his body on my stomach and it has made my stomach feel better. I understand that petting a dog or any other animal can stimulate positive things in your brain.

That is really interesting Ron. What a fantastic friend you have there. They just know when things arent right dont they 😊

When I am not feeling well my dogs are always happy to jump on the bed and usually stay there as long as I do.

I think its a great idea, most patients don't get the support they need and dogs are there for you at 100%.
