Does anyone ride a bike with their setons? Mine are suppose to come out in a month, but I fear that my CR surgeon will change his mind. I just ordered a new bike, and come hell or high water, I will ride it.

Good luck. I have had mine since September and can't even look at a bike. The seat hits my fistula opening in a way that causes very bad pain.

I cycled all the time when I had fistulas and setons in, never gave me any more discomfort than normal. I suppose it depends where they are located.

Are you asking for pain or for leakage? I don't have a seton by I had a major abscess surgery in December '11 and I've still got awhile to heal. I ride my bike every single day with no problems with pain at all. I do wear pads in my underwear though so that if there is any leakage that will catch it so it doesn't look like I sharted when I get off the bike lol.

Ah ok. So does my abscess still. It will get less and less every day so just hang in there. Wish I could help for the pain but never had the seton for my abscess.

Go for it! I have massive problems with abscesses and fistula etc but will not give up on my bike. If the time ever came when I had to give up my bike then I would really freak out!! Good luck.
