Severe right lower abdominal pain 11 days after illeocecal resection please help!!!

I am experiencing severe lower right abdominal pain. I had small part of my colon,my illeocecal Valve, my terminal ileum and 63 cm of my ileum removed. I've had ongoing pain each day, but today have all the sudden experienced severe pain on lower right side where resection was done. All the sudden it felt like ripping pain and charred glass and radiated out. Couldn't even walk or move or else pain gets worse. This pain on lower right side keep coming in spurts. What could this be? Anyone else experience this?

I am sorry you are experiencing this. I have not experienced this myself. Have you told your doctor what is going on?

Is your appendix still intact? It sounds like appendicitis.

No my appendix is out. Yes I told my dr she wants me to go to ER but Im stubborn. Did anyone have spasms after their resection? I wonder if this could be it because it keep coming and going and is very intense pain.

Definitely go to ER this isn't right and sounds like a blockage

When you are advised to seek medical help, do it. My mistake was waiting too long to seek medical help, which made surgery necessary.

This is not a disease to take lightly. The longer you wait, the worse it gets.
