My Tummy Hurts

Guest
So Its been a week since my first Remicade infusion, not feeling much different except really tired (well yet still having insomnia); but I noticed I have been shaking/trembling a lot especially in my hands, like when I do things with my fingers like put on mascara etc, they shake, sometimes more or less. Has anyone else experienced this? I told my doc and they said it could be from the prednisone (still on 40mg) even though I noticed this after the Remicade. Just wondering if anyone else knew about this and if its something to worry about.

I'm on 40mg of pred as well. I have very mild hand tremors after I take my dose that go away as the day progresses. My BP spikes just after my dose and then goes to a perfectly normal level later too. I wouldn't have noticed but a patient pointed it out to me a few days ago while I was trying to stick him with a needle.

I've had tremors of the hands with pred too, but now that I'm down to 5 mg it seems to have stopped.

Pred I would venture to guess.

Pred for me ...is like being hopped up on speed. (not that I've taken speed mind you, but I imagine from description, that its' similar.)

I agree with all of the above posts - I shake so much on pred (both hands and legs)...it's enough to drive you crazy. Good luck!

Yeah pred turns me into captain mc shakey. I HATE trying to pay for things at the checkout I have so much trouble holding my change or taking cards out of my wallet. I also drop things ALL the time. My legs shake loads too I'm like a jittering monkey lol.

Yup, loved the prednisolone and my tremors....was a pain in the bum at work, i'm a nurse and trying to shakily direct a needle into a small vial of antibiotics is no mean feat for the best of us, never mind a steriod induced jazz hands dance.......:runaway:

Yup I shake too.

I also notice my voice is really fast and shaky too... I talk super fast. I'm also more impatient.

But I still love the Pred despite my extra 15 pounds and acne.

Shakey

I've been off and on prednisone a millipon times. I'm currently off now, but my hands do still shake. Not sure how long it lasts, but I'm on remicade as well, and only the prednisone-I noticed- makes me shake.

Hope I helped!

Yep, Pred does it to me everytime. It's so annoying because people always feel the need to ask, "Why are you shaking?". I actually told one person I was shaking from crack detox. Dern nosy people.

I get the shakes right through my body and like spasms like a pulse that hurts. Went to quacks today and he gave me some Beta blockers to stop it.

My wrist hurts too, and one of my veins is rock hard and sore, he gave me cream, I think it's after my infusions

Just recently bin put on 20mg of predisolone due to the start of a flare up,I too, am suffering from the shakes,my whole body feels unstable and jittery(if thats a word)- Im sleeping heaps(which i believe is unusual for pred) and ache all over :( Better than going to the loo to squirt out nothing but blood every 10 tens mins though.
