Sinusitis/loss of smell and taste

Hi,
I remember the year when I had my first flare up, and it was the same year my sinuses got really bad....although I can't recall which happened first because it was 7 years ago. I lost all smell and taste very quickly and this is still the case.
When my sinuses get really bad my ENT puts me on low doses of prednisone and I can get smell and taste back.
Just wondering if this may be related to Crohn's, and if anyone else has had this problem.

I don't know. But, I too am being treated for sinusitis right now. Doctor prescribed antibiotics for me instead of prednisone. Biggest thing for me is that my molars have been hurting and jaws have been popping.
