skin bumps/ rashes?

hey, i'm new here and looked around a good amount, but this is my first post. i've been diagnosed with chron's for 9 months now, and i'm about to get my 7th remicade infusion tomorrow.

i know rashes are pretty common amongst people with chron's and colitis, usually on the joints, but rather than having any of that i have these odd hard, large, bumps on my legs and shoulders. i've only had them for the past 6 months or so, and i'm starting to get them more and more often. they're almost always painful (for they get squished when i have to sit at school etc.) and last for many weeks if not over a month.

i've tried looking around and seeing if there's any relation to them and ibd's, but i've come up dry.

does anyone else have anything remotely similar to this?

I am going off Remi and starting Cimzia Tuesday because of severe joint pain and strange "lumps" They appear on my forearms or legs not near any joint and they are sore and red ...had two on my head and one on my temple a while back - strange indeed - the doc had no answer but with the joint pain he didn't like this "new" symptom so now we try Cimzia... I would go back to the doc and see what he thinks...

hmm that's interesting to hear then. i've had join pain all my life but it's significantly worse since i've been on the remicade. the only place i get them is on my legs and upper arms/ shoulders though. yeah, i'm seeing my doctor next week so i definitely plan on talking to him about it
