Hi - I would like to ask advice - Has anyone else suffered with rosacea and PLE as a result of taking mercaptapurine? Can anyone advise as to treatment protocols if this does happen? Many thanks

I was allergic to it, and it's sister Azathioprine.
My skin became very inflamed, itchy, ended up bleeding with hives.
This happened after 6 weeks with both meds, how long have you been on it?
Is your doc aware of it?
Hopefully someone else will chip in.

Hi - Thanks for the quick response - I am writing for my sister - she was on it for years - Has now come off it and has been put on mecaptapurine, but is very ill and in a lot of pain with the skin issues and no one seems to know what to do. Any suggestions would be very gratefully received
