Hi Everyone,
I am new here and very excited to meet people in my situation!
I have had crohns for 19 years diagnosed and 3 years before being diagnosed. I am currently on humira bi weekly and b12 monthly. Here is my question, do any of you get a painful patch of skin? There is a spot on one of my legs that feels fine, but if I apply any pressure it hurts. Anyone experience this?
Thanks for all your help!
Amy

Yes I would have pain for several days at and near my injection site. It's recommended to rotate the sites.

Hi, sorry, I didn't mean at the injection site. I inject in the stomach, this sore spot is on my right leg, just below and to the right of the knee. More like top of shin over to the right. I feel nothing if I don't touch it, if I press or rub the area I feel a mild soreness.

I just took a look at Humira.com for side effects and "Warm, red, or painful skin or sores on your body" is listed. I would certainly bring it up with your doctor but it might be a minor side effect that isn't dangerous.

Thank you for the reply. I looked up humira numerous times and didn't see anything, but when I get worried I can't see straight! Lol!

Ok, thank you. This is quite a journey we are all on. I only wish there was support groups to meet with people in the area you live. But either way, this forum is wonderful. Wish I found it earlier.

I think the Mississauga/Brampton Chapter is pretty active. I am also in Ontario, and we start our CCFC Chapter meeting with 20-30 minutes of discussion/support.
