OK, feeling slightly awkward about this thread, but still...
My consultant tells me categorically that menstrual cycle does not have any impact on Chrohns symptoms. It can't happen, according to him.
However...why is it that just as I get PMT, I get gut pain? And then I have 7-10 days of unusual/different gut activity? I don't always make the connection, but this month it's been really clear to me - a specific pain I don't get any other time, combined with a different pattern of BM.
I'm asking really because I want to know if it's me that's weird, or if it's my consultant who's talking out of his textbook!
