slow healing

First im on my phone so im sorry if everything doesn't make scense. Anyway im on a combo therapy of 4 pills lialda, 50mgs of 6mpI and remicade every 8 weeks(just started) away my last infusion the nurse put the iv in my wrist and it left a bruise...that was over a week ago and the bruise is still black and blue. Also I am just getting over a cold which I blew my nose a lot and now its scabbed up pretty bad. Im noticing lately outs taking a long time to heal should I be concerned at all?

I've been noticing the same thing - bruises and cuts taking a little longer to heal. I will be asking at my next appointment about it. I am just through my loading doses of Remicade.

I've had my 7th shot of remi last week. Last april when I started it I broke my leg really badly and had to get operated. All this to say that I healed treally fast like always. I was on blood thinners for 6 months and also never had any problems with healing. ust thought I would give my input.

I don't get sick with colds, respiratory infections or the like any more than I did before taking Remicade.

That being said, I have noticed that my little cuts and bruises take longer to heal now. My eczema is also flaring up more often. It's nothing I can't deal with, but I am keeping an eye on it. I'd hate to go off the Remicade, but I do worry about long term effects. So far, so good!

I also don't get sick like I did with the 6mp. When I started 6mpon I would get colds that lasted for months. So far since starting remicade I've only gotten 1 cold which lasted the usual week or two. Just the bruise struck me as odd. Probably a side effect if low immune system. I go in march for a blood draw to check mu anemia and white cell count maybe that'll give a couple of answers
