So confused, please help.

Hey everyone.

I stopped taking Entocort cold turkey (my GI said to) and I've only been on it for 3 weeks and nothing else, and I've been getting really bad stomach pains and cramps and just a day ago I bled from my vagina and now i'm getting this brown discharge...

Confusing thing is that I've been on the pill for about 2 years now because when I was on my period the pain would be 10x worse. I haven't missed a pill or anything and they've been working for me ever since I've been on them.

Is this because I've come off the Entocort? Has anyone ever experienced this?

I know I responded in your other thread but I don't recall it saying anything about the blood and discharge, maybe it did. What birth control are you taking? Are you supposed to not have a period? Do you know if this is supposed to be around the time that you would be bleeding? The brown discharge is old blood. Probably having some minor spotting. Might want to give your GYN a call and let them know about it just in case but like I said in your other thread I have noticed that some meds have kind of messed with my birth control where I'd have pain or bleeding when I'm not supposed to.

Just thought I'd say hello as we are in the same part of the UK.

I have taken Entocort twice in the last 12 months with very little side effects apart from increased appetite.

I hope that your symptoms have improved and you are now feeling better.

This happened to me when I went off Entocort. I've been on the pill for over 10 years and when I went off the Entocort my periods were horrific for about 2 months.
Now everything has settled though. Hope it gets better!
