So far so good but adding probiotics?

Saw the GI yesterday. He feels things are going well with the course of treatment I'm on. Said if I was going to have an issue with the prednisone taper it most likely would have happened already (I've been at 10mg for a week). They feel that by the time I'm done completely with the steroids (early July) that I will have been on Humira long enough for that to take over.
I am going to try probiotics (Align is what they gave me) to see if that makes any difference for me with the occasional D. Anybody hear of any adverse reactions, like making D worse?

I used VSL#3 for a couple of months. It seemed to help my diarrhea for about a month by cutting it in half, and then the D went back as strong as before. I had no adverse effects at all, however.

Edit: After reading another post just a second ago, I was reminded that I did have bloating and gas with the VSL#3. That went away after the first couple of weeks, though.
