ugh so i started on entocort and everything seemed to be moving smoothly. now for 4 days ive had severe pain in the middle of my stomach and ive lost 4 lbs. i was so dehydrated that i had to get iv fluids today. which lead them to run other tests. so now i have uti, bladder infection, dehydration and i have severe colitis going on. ive been in bed since yesterday (literally only getting up to go to the bathroom and the doctor) and slept most of the time. and now my freaking mother had the nerve to ask my fiance if this was "a little put on" WTF? no im just shitting and laying in bed because it seems like the FUN thing to do... sorry for the language. i am just really fed up with this crap. if im sick then guess what IM FREAKING SICK. i wouldnt fake this stupid disease nor would anyone else.. plus why would they want to?!!! i am so beyond annoyed. i just wish for one day they can be in our position and know what this feels like!!!!! my own doctor came in this morning and straight up told me i looked like crap! fadskjfaldsjfasdjfads;lfj;asd. im so done with this crap. i just want to get better so im not "putting on a show"

Hi Ava - that's really unfortunate that your own mother is so insensitive. Maybe next time don't flush and let her see what's in there. Ya know, just in case you're fakin' it...

Hang in there - feel better soon!

I hope you feel better soon. I do have to lol at what Amy just said! That would be a good way to get her to know the realization of a part of what we go through.

Hi xoxava,
When I had bad diarrhea, I got bladder infections too. It seems so unfair. You are dealing with one problem already and then that one probably causes the other one. And then to be told that you are faking it!? Put your energy into getting better. Then when you are well, perhaps you can sit down with your mother, ask her why she thinks that you would fake your illness, and then tell her what kind of support you need from her the next time that you get sick. If she is unwilling to give it, at least you will not be wasting your energy thinking about something that isn't going to happen.

Feel better soon.

Hi xoxoava,
Your mom said this? Wow. I guess she has never had a sick day in her life, huh? Love Amy's idea. You could also ask her to scrub it out after! ;)
Hope you are feeling better.
Michele
