So tired. Exhausted all day

I'm so frustrated the past few months, because I am exhausted almost all day. I go to bed between 9:30 and 10 (if I can stay awake that long), and wake up between 5:30 and 6. I could probably go to bed around 6pm if I wanted to, and it's really difficult to wake up in the morning. When I sleep in on the weekends, I can easily sleep 10-12 hours straight before waking up.

I've been on the same medication for about 18 months, so I don't think that is the culprit. I know I don't always eat the best, so I'm sure that plays a role, but this is just beyond being tired. It's starting to take a toll on my social life. Could it be possible that I'm anemic, even though I take a folic acid pill each day?

Thanks!

YES!! Tired, tired and tired....I know im anemic and B12 deficient, and when Im low on my does....I feel exhausted. Even with treatment and disease under control, it still lets you know its there in other ways. Maybe try to increase your proteine intake, and more water, or gatorade and make sure your getting your daily vitamins. Rest where you can and do what you have to is the way I deal with my constant tiredness and fatigue. Good Luck!

YUCK.......

I feel for you. I agree with BLM try eating more protine (if you can), I find that peanut butter works good for a easy to digest, spoonfull hear and there snack. I get the smuckers natural. Sometimes I feel that the more I sleep the more tired I am. I try to walk a little bit everyday. Sometimes just around the block, and not fast. Just moving. Its hard to get energy with this disease, and when you do get it. It dosent stay around for long. Good luck

I've been finding the same. I sleep around 9:30 or 10pm. I easily sleep for 10 hours, and by 12 i'm tired again. Then I nap for about 2 hours and by 4 i'm tired again. I don't know what to do. I'm living from bed to couch to bed. It sucks.

I take extra multivitamins and I don't even feel a difference. I'm considering taking B12 shots because obviously my intestines aren't absorbing any nutrients. Or something?

Hang in there Andrea...

i feel for ya. it's the same for me and i've felt that way for a long time..all of my vitamins and such are where they should be, nothing is too low.....bleh!
