So tired of feeling this way!

I was diagnosed with Crohn's in Oct. 2005..... I am now 36 years old.. In the past few months, I have changed to a new doctors (moved - Love the New Doc) I think it has been a blessing. However.... With him being thorough, Ugh... I a realising I am heading in a new direction...

I have basicall only been on Imuran 50mg and sometimes if needed Entacort.

Nov of 2010 (previous Doc) I had a colonscope done, Everything checks out okay.. SO I was told!

I typically go to the ER with a flare up 2 to 4 times a year.. ( Kind of thought this is normal???)

When I went to the new doc... I said I am so tired of going to the hospital and creating Billings!!!

Well, After seeing the new doctor, Not totally being convinced about my symptoms... We basically started new testings... Everything is coming up positive, I had a CAT scan, and another Scope, etc...

Now within the past about 2 weeks... I have an 8in section the is inflamed, Doc couldnt get the scope through. Increased my Imuran to 100mg and I have now Started Humira injections last Saturday 5/5....

My stomach has been upset it seems like ever since... Also this past weekend I was back in the ER with a flare!!! UGH!

Am I ever going to feel better again????

Welcome to the forum, hopefully the imuran and humira will work, although it takes a fair few weeks until it kicks in (aza about 4-8wks I think, not sure about humira).

If you read the imuran instructions theres a calcualtion you can use to see how much you need for your weight, may be worth looking at this.

May also be worth looking at your diet and seeing if theres anything you eat of drink thats causing problems.

Hello and welcome to the forum. Sorry to hear you feeling so poorly at the moment, fingers crossed the increased imuran and humira will do the trick for you and you can be feeling better soon.
