so very sick of being sick

Happy I was, living in Remission City....for like half a minute.

So during my flare, it was rare that I had nausea, the symptoms were anal/rectal/abdominal pain. NOW for the last two weeks, a new thing....can't hardly eat, headaches, nausea, dizziness, flash fevers and chills, vomiting, vomiting, vomiting. No D. No D! Which is shocking. But what a ****** trade-off!
I'm dropping pounds, but I'm overweight, so I guess it's not too bad. But I'm exhausted! and PISSED! and i miss being hungry. I was doing pretty good on my diet - fresh fruit. steamed veg. fish. no soda or corn syrup.

So I return to you, crohnsters, for comfort....

Oh boy do I know how you feel! I've been in a flare for awhile now and it sucks. It seems everytime I get close to remission I get yanked back. Hopefully we'll both be in remission soon. Vent all you like, we know how bad it sucks. Hugs and prayers to you!

Oh that sucks planetjen.

Are you constipated? I think it is a little worrying if you are now constipated and have so much vomiting. You could have narrowing and heading for a blockage. When is your next visit to the doctor??

if u are having chills then maybe you have an abscess that you need taken care of. I remember my first rectal abscess. Before the area swelled up bad, I was at work and was just dizzy and having fever like symptoms. Had to have my brother come and pick me up from work.

abscesses are not fun, I dealt with them because of my fistula problems. Or it could be another infection your body is having trouble fighting off.

anyways best of luck, all those symptoms you just mentioned are no fun

Dusty- No constipation....and no crazy sharp pains lately which hopefully is good. I am going to call my regular GI on Monday, then next week I am also going to my second opinion appointment with one of the top crohn's docs in my town! Yip yip!
Persian- yep i have fistulizing crohns so this is definitely a concern....

I am so weirded out by how much the symptoms have changed....i feel like i am going loco in my cabeza!

sure am glad yall are around 24/7 like i need you to be. *whew*

i am not so sick that i cannot work, but i have been vomiting before work in the morning, and sometimes i can't even make it all the way home. SO WEIRD, ITS D IN REVERSE! waaaagh. the stress and anger dont help either. ommmm.....ommmm.....ommmmmm.....*sigh*
