Some Opinions.

I was hoping to join the Army but this disease does count as a Disqualification but i think its still worth speaking to a recruiter about it as the tablets they have me on and working 100%! Have not had any problems since i have been on them (Almost a Month.). Im fit, strong and able.

The other option i was thinking about is Volunteering overseas, think it would be a great experience getting to travel the world, help overs and get to know other languages and cultures. Im a guy who likes to get my hands dirty, an office job isn't for me. Messaged a site i was looking at seeing if this illness is a problem.


What do you think on the matter? Personally im more for the Army but im doubtful i will be accepted, Fingers crossed.

I'm sure the Army could find something for you to do, desk jobs can't be the only options for those not fit and able!

Im perfectly fit and able and would like to go for infantry. Just have to see what the recruiter says.

I think the way the army works, it doesnt matter what post you go in you have to be 100% fit. I dont think they can take the chance that you may get ill with the disease further on in your life, even if you are ok now.
