Somewhat scared....

Ok thats an understatement I am TERRIFIED!!!

I went to the doctor today cos as the prednisone dose decreased the pain increased. So after an examination that had me in tears it was so sore he said my colon is "angry" and he things that judging by swelling and my pain that there may be a perforation in my colon. He has given me meds and til Monday if no vast improvement I am going to hospital.... He wants to rest my colon and do a scope to see if there is a perforation.

As soon as he said the "H" word I burst into tears. I felt pathetic.

Anyway I got an injection for the pain and some meds I am in bed with my heat pack (I love the person who invented it!!!!!) and I am sore I am trying to will away the pain.

I wish I knew what was in store for me........

Try to focus on relaxing your belly and it getting better. You can only rest and wait. Glad to hear you are on doc's care.
