I've noticed the skin on my hands is often very sore, chapped, dry, itchy when I'm having a flare up, though this could just be because I'm washing my hands so much, and I can't find a hand wash that soothes it. Anyone have this and have you found relief from any product I could try? It often wakes me in the night!

Could be psoriasis - I have it on my hands too and they eventually peel. Imfindmtheyre better in the summer but I find coconut oil helps a lot.

could be eczema too, very common on hands. Eczema is very itchy. Hydrate your skin with natural ingredients such as organic coconut oil or avocado oil. Avoid pharmacy creams full of chemicals. When i was a kid, I had eczema and the dermatologist told my parents to use popular creams (Keri-lotion) sold in big store and pharmacies along with cortisone creams. When I think of it now, it makes me so sad... Take pictures to show your doctor next time or if you see a dermatologist at some point.

Sounds like Eczema to me. Avoid hot water, try not to wash your hands as often or with as much soap, and always moisturize them after. If just moisturizing doesn't help, I'd recommend getting a hydrocortisone cream.

I've UC as well, and at some point after my first flare I acquired a large patch of red periodically itchy skin right smack dab in the middle of my chest. It varies in size, but it has never left. Cocoa butter helps when I really need it
