I've been on Azathioprine for nearly 2 yrs and doing well staying in remission for the majority of the time with no serious flare ups. My blood tests all in pretty good shape but have increasingly felt like I have a cold coming all the time esp when I am tired in the evenings. Now with regular sore throats, earache and feeling like I have urine infection all like signs of a chill but these symptoms never come to anything more. I just take paracetamol but its become very frequent. Has anyone else experienced this and is it just part of the side effects of the drug ?
