Hi all,
I have been following the IBD-AID (less strict version of the SCD diet) for the past few months now here in Australia with the help of my dietitian who has been very supportive. I am trying to introduce more probiotics into my day, and as I have a dairy allergy (anaphylaxis + eosinophilic oesophagitis)
I cannot have the SCD version of yoghurt made with dairy or goat milk. Would yoghurt made on soy milk be okay? I know fermented soy is given the 'okay' on the IBD-AID diet, but just thought I would check - here in Australia we don't have nearly half as many dairy alternatives as in the USA or the UK, so this is the best I can find that has no additional flavouring:
Kingland Greek Style Soy Yoghurt (Natural Unsweetened):
Ingredients:
Soy milk (certified organic non-GMO soybeans, water), modified tapioca starch, guar gum, calcium chloride, live cultures (incl. L. Acidophilus, Bifidobacterium), potassium sorbate, natural flavours.
Any advice would be appreciated I also take a probiotic, but would like to try to expand with food choices too.
