Started Remicade

I went for my 1st Remicade infusion last Tuesday, it was pretty scary for me. I wasn't sure about all the risks with Remicade but decided that I needed to try it considering the success rate for remission etc. I would love to hear experiences and any suggestions you may have for me.

Good luck I think that may be the next step for me as well. Ive been on Imuran for a year now, and ive been on predinose for for 4, 6 week periods in that year so half of the time im on prednisone = not working obviously lol - just a short term bandaid with brutal side effects lol

I was very scared to take Remicade too, because of the possible side effects.
I just couldn't live life with 12 BMs a day, and crapping my pants, and being 40 pounds under weight, so I didn't have much of a choice left.
I am now in an awesome remission, and have been on it for 18 months!
