I have the name of two doctors in the D.C. area which is where I am going to college and I am trying to start an experiment on Crohn's Disease. I am going to talk to my health science teacher about it and see what he thinks about it.
Introduction:
There is a gene called the ACE gene which controls blood pressure and also body build type. It is also said to be linked with Crohn's Disease and can be controlled through exercise.
My plan:
I will test people DNA for the ACE gene and try to find a commonality between the people taking the test. I will then get trainers to set out a training program specifically for us to see if we can control the ACE gene. By finding this out I can see if exercise can supress Crohn's symptoms and also depending on if the gene is deleted or if you have half of the gene or if you have the gene I want to see how exercise affects them.
I want to know what you guys think of my idea and if anyone wants to help me out.
