I am patientally (or not) waiting to see my GI Specialist. I guess I should consider myself fortunate to get an appointment so quickly (1 month after going to the ER) as it takes 6+ months to see a specialist here in Ontario Canada.

I am so frustrated though! I am constantly bloated and feel uncomfortable sitting for long periods of time. I either am in the bathroom frequently or don't go for a week. I have constant pain in my lower right as well as my back. Sometimes it's the left & right but mainly the right. I am even having a pain in my groin - right leg. I eat I feel horrible. I don't eat I feel horrible. I am on a limited diet and desperately miss my salad and haven't had meat in a month. I am tired all the time and don't feel like my iron supplements or B12 are doing a thing. I'm up late due to nausea and if I take a OTC sleep aid I don't feel like I've slept at all.

So...I'm just venting about how crappy I feel! I sometimes wonder if I will ever feel "normal" again or if I should just suck it up and come to terms with how I feel now and consider this the "norm".

Thanks for listening/reading...just having a moment I guess!

Hello, sorry you are feeling so bad!

We have an undiagnosed part of the forum, located within the support section. There are quite a few of us over there waiting for a true diagnosis to get on the right meds/treatment!

I personally have been undiagnosed for awhile now, due to the slow progress of my symptoms and normal test results. I get alternations like you do, but mine are do to medication side effects. I hate it! My IBD symptom is D 8 -12 times a day, then I take tramadol for pain, and it stops me up. Then I usually have to take a stool softener to get things going again, or I will drink coffee on an empty stomach..it seems to get things moving!

Have you tried a probiotic at all? I have used activia in the past (the yogurt) and it helped make things a little better. Its also in pill form, but I haven't had much luck with them in the past. They might help with the irregularity some!

I hope you feel better soon!
