Stoma healed a bit more!

My stoma or lack of it has closed over even more to the extent I don't have to cut the holes in the base plates any longer but of course with the good old nhs I'm still waiting for a bloody MRI and someone to actually do something , I've also not had any maintenance therapy since jan ( had been on aza for 10yrs) soreallypissedoff.com. Here's a photo of where we're at with the disappearing stoma.

Just saw another surgeon yesterday PRIVATELY and he still is wanting to make me wait til OCTOBER for reversal. WTF? It faster on the NHS!

Honestly...time to open some whoop a$£

:voodoo: Ahuh...well, as I said, NHS and private arent so different. Thing is, private I can tell him to...erm, walk his dog, and find someone else to put up with it. Always someone else to go with. I have to hurry, no time to waste, gotta get it done before I have no private insurance!

Yikes indeed more of a hassle than anything else sit down for a bowel motion and fill the bag at the same time two ends to clean instead of one!

It's a loop colostomy do everything is still connected together and it has sunk! Yes 3 months is about right I've been waiting 3 for an MRI but am due to get scanned any day now, or so they say! Hoping to push them a bit about the op after that.

No it wasn't supposed to sink, but when it did not all the waste comes out the hole and continues on meaning I usually have a normal bowel motion everyday as well as what goes to the bag.

They're going to fish it up out and close it up but if they can't get it up , they will have to open me up down the middle again and get at it that way! Sounds fun.

Finally getting MRI tomorrow! Phoned up this morning giving off I was still waiting, by two this afternoon someone rang with a cancellation for 9 in the morning.

Possibly something to do with the 2litres of contrast, 25 mins in the scanner for small bowel scan on my front, then flip me over like a sex doll and do me another half an hour on my back for pelvis scan, marathon session.

I often wonder if they keep score of how many blowouts they have in there after these proceedures? Ya think they might just figure out we need to EMPTY between torture sessions? Noooo...that makes too much sense! Frankly, I refuse to be embarrassed, its their own damn fault!

Don't know about my acting abilities but it's off to see the surgeon on Monday afternoon to try and find out wtf his plans are and if I can get back to work.
