Hello!

I'm undiagnosed and have been dealing with some serious stomach pains over the last few years. Doctors aren't sure what it is and I can't afford the costs of further testing. A friend of mine had me try some marijuana over thanksgiving and my stomach felt great! But I don't live in a medical marijuana state.

Those of you who treat with this, have you all made the move to accommodate the marijuana use? Or do you just go to the black market?

Sorry if this is a n00b question.

Thanks!

Maybe your friend can continue to hook you up until your state comes on board with legalization. Seems like a lot of states are finally coming around. Hopefully its just a matter of time.
There is no doubt that marijuana helps with stomach/gut pain. It is a little more controversial whether it only masks the pain or if it actually has a physiological benefit as well, such as reduction of inflammation. Either way its worth doing.

It's not a noob question at all. Medical marijuana is just recently making it into the spotlight so a lot if people don't know much about it.

I feel it helps with my inflammation as well as pain, but that's speaking from experience. It also helps me stay off the toilet for longer periods of time. It really is a huge relief for people who are either not on medication or who prefer to stay on a low dose of meds due to potential side effects (like me and Imuran).

Ultimately black market or medical is up to you. I have a prescription, but only because it's a lot cheaper for me. I prefer having a prescription, if I want to change it up I go visit a friend or local dispensary.

Good luck! Hopefully you get a diagnosis soon.
