Stool size!

I usually do a few normal sized bowel movements most of the time, then it will revert back to the very narrow pencil thin ones. But in one bowel movement today they were all normal at first then came out tiny. What is happening. The inflammation is in my rectum only at the moment. Is it suddenly shrinking while im on the loo!

I'm not sure what is happening. Are you saying that your stools were "normal" then changed to pencil ones while going?

Yes, it all happened in one trip to the bathroom!

Hmmm....maybe a spasm? Or maybe the stool was really soft and the force of the muscles squished it smaller because you were at the end of your poop. I guess it wouldn't hurt to ask your doc.
