Strep Throat and on Humira - bummer!

I haven't felt well for several days now but with CD flare, pred. taper and newly on Humira (6 doses) it's not like I ever feel very well. :lol2:

Well, this morning I finally decided to go see my GP and found out it is strep throat...really?!?!?!?! Ugh...well a nice thick shot of penicillin in the bum and back to the sofa

I know I have plenty to be thankful for but just needed to vent for a minute...thanks for letting me!

Hope you feel better soon!...I had strep 2 times (yep - TWICE) spring of 2010...about a month or two apart.....NOT fun! Wierd thing was, the first bout I had a high temp and was SICK (102.5, throwing up etc)...second time I was at work and didn't feel right - got off early and went to doc for strep test...nurse seemed surprised when it was positive!

Short course of antibiotics and I was good to go.....

Ugh.....that's rotten. I've had strep a couple of times, once in my final year of undergrad during December exams, and it isn't fun.

It's the time of year when a lot of stuff is going around, my little guy and I both have colds right now.

Hope the antibiotics kick in and you are feeling better soon.
