I have not had the pill cam, 'they' would not let me.
Gosh I hope you are okay & not in pain. I just wanted to really wish you the best and hope it will go through very soon.

Hello Patrick and welcome to the forum. I have never had a pill cam so cannot assist with your query either but I do hope this can be sorted for you soon. What has your doc said about this? Are they still just waiting and seeing if it will eventually come out naturally? I assume the reason you were having this test done because you are having problems at the moment? Have you found that this is now aggrivating things further?
Will keep my fingers crossed that it doesn't 'stay' for too much longer, pls let us know on how you are doing.

Hello! I had the pill cam done about a month ago, but it passed the next day. My GI said it was rare for it to get stuck, but I still had to sign consent to let them treat 'in case' it happened. Are they talking about surgery to remove it? I wouldn't think they would let it stay in there much longer. I hope you get some answers here, good luck!

Thanks for the post. Nothing today I have not heard from the GI or the surgeon. I took the pill cam due to a flare up and to survey the damage to the small intestine. I did take the dummy cam around 45 days prior and it pass with no problem. Knowing that there was a chance of this we waited till after the christmas holidays and all the travel was over.
After a month there has not been to much pain involved but have a difficult time eating and I am losing weight. The biggest problem is not knowing what and when the doctors are going to do some thing about it they keep saying they have to get it out but keep waiting each visit is " lets wait a couple of more days "
