stupid doctor!
I got a colonoscopy on February 11th. I've been on Lialda, 4 pills a day because 2 wasn't enough to keep the D away, which is why he did the scope. So he does it and says yes inflammation in the large intestine and your ileum, lets start Humira. I said ok. He says we'll set it up and the pharmacy will call you. So two days ago I call for an update since the pharm never called. Nurse calls me today and says, "the doc says your colon is fine, you don't need humira, better to put it off as long as possible" I'm like what the hell? This is the second time this doctor has contradicted himself. Time for a new doctor!
I'm venting but I'm ok, really. I just started to a little flare with the spring pollen season but so far not too bad. This just goes to show you how much we have to be our own advocates.
