Hi all.

I was diagnosed with Crohn's in 2006. No meds except generic Entocort.

For a year or so I've been getting sudden onsets of a burning feeling in my face and upper body. It literally feels as though I will combust. This is followed by severe stomach pain. I usually have to run to the bathroom and after a few bouts of loose stool I feel suddenly better. Sweaty and cold but better.

I used to think maybe just stomach poisoning or something similar but for as many times as I've had it it's not likely. (and I've had stomach flus, I never get the heat in my face and body)

Any ideas out there as to what this may be? My flares are usually a lot different.

How old are you moon love, could it be connected to peri menopause at all??
I know some ladies have violent hot flushes accompanied by needing a BM and its down to hormones.
Sorry if I'm off the mark, you're probably far too young...although it's worth knowing that peri menopause and its associated symptoms can start waaaay before any disruption to monthly cycles. Just a thought 😕

Thanks for replying Bunty, I'm 27 yo. The stomach pain doesn't bother me so much because I'm used to flares. It's the suddenness and intensity of the heat that worries me.
