Is there a direct link between the two -- just got of ER and it was quite an ordeal.

MEDS:
Sulfasalazine DR 500 MG tab
Folic Acid 1 MG tab
--------------
[just got these for the Pancreatitis]

Metoclopramide 10 MG tab
Hydrocodon 5-325

I know that mesalamine can in rare cases cause pancreatitis, so it wouldn't surprise me if sulfasalazine could as well. Have you asked your doctor about it? I hope you feel better soon!

Thanks for the feedback Cat-a-Tonic -- i'm feeling much better since I initially posted the question; as far as speaking to a doctor I have an appointment on the 7th of August and i'll let her know my concerns.

Best,
Ahmed
