Surgery Experiences - Pre-Op vs Post-Op

Just wondering if anyone could share their experiences of their symptoms pre-surgery and how they were post-surgery.

I am likely going in for surgery, a strictureplasty on one or more strictures due to inflammation and am wondering what I can expect to feel like once I get home. I'm not confident a strictureplasty can fix strictures due to inflammation unless one cuts it out.

Hi Brad I have had 2 resections but not a stricturplasty. However I have read about them. This is JUST my opinion, but if a part is narrowed and your sig says no disease present, I find that unusual. I would have a laproscopy and have taken out what ever is diseased. I would wonder if it would come back. Then what? Your Gi knows what is best for you , as we are all different. Post op, you need something for pain and rest. I only know for resections, but let us know how you get on ok. Good luck!
