Surgery Update

Surgery went well yesterday. They are doing it in stages and will do more tomorrow. If all the cultures come back fine they will close the wound up tomorrow.

All of the bacteria has been cleared out. Dr. Mirali tried to stretch skin from the scalp over the skin but that didn't work so they took some skin from my thigh. The doctor is afraid that it won't heal at the normal pace because of the Crohn's Disease.

Ronroush- I am glad that half of the surgery is over for you! Praying tomorrow goes well, and that your skin graft does not give you any problems.
